The Singapore Science and Engineering Fair (SSEF) is Singapore’s most prestigious national science competition. This annual event received more than 600 project submissions this year. These research projects aim to solve real-world problems ranging from cancer diagnosis to water purification to sustainable energy harvesting, and more. Selected winners of SSEF go on to represent Singapore at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair held in the United States of America.

What? Public Visitation and Career Talks 

Students and teachers can view the fruits of labour of the research teams that have made it to the final judging round of SSEF 2018. They can also interact with the finalists and be inspired by their passion in science research. To encourage students to embark on careers in various fields of STEM, attendees can also look forward to talks by various speakers who would be sharing about their work and possible careers in various STEM fields.
