The purpose of this open house is to introduce the field of food science and technology (FST) to prospective students. In Order to major in FST, students must have H2 Chemistry and one other science subject (Mathematics, Physics or Biology). If they do not have H2 Biology, they must have H1 Biology or equivalent.

This session includes hands-on activities to showcase the different field of studies in FST. So, places are limited and we would be screening interested students to make sure you meet the pre-requisites for this course.

Note that in this coming year, students will be admitted to FST major directly. The Faculty will also be introducing FST as second major only to those with intention to take Chemistry as their first major. Places for both FST major and Chem-FST double major are limited.
