A*STAR one-north Festival 2016

A*STAR and JTC will be organising the inaugural one-north Festival from 5 to 6 August 2016 to celebrate Research, Innovation, Creativity and Enterprise.

 

The one-north Festival brings together the larger research & innovation ecosystem in Singapore and will showcase the vibrancy of Singapore’s RIE ecosystem.

 

Students can learn and discover through a number of activities including interactive booths, including 3D printing and social robots, as well as lab-tours and open houses.

What? Lab tours and Open houses of A*STAR’s research institutes as well as start-ups and studios 

At the Singapore Bioimaging Consortium, students can learn about bioimaging instruments, understand how they work and what they are used for.

 

Fox Networks Group is providing access to the latest in sports technologies like Augmented Reality and Touch Screen Presentation to allow students to see first-hand how sports is brought to life.

 

At Canon, students can visit their state-of-the-art Business Excellence Centre, Production Printing Centre and Canon Imaging Academy studio to learn more about their innovative products and technologies.

 

Game Solutions Centre will share about the journey to becoming a game developer.
